How bizarre. 30 minutes ago Saddam Hussein was executed at an unspecified location in Iraq. It’s being reported on the BBC which lends it some validity.
I personally don’t believe in the death penalty so I don’t think this is such a great thing but to lots of people this will be extremely welcome news - to others it will be reason for deep anger. Things could get very nasty in Iraq fort he foreseeable future. Well, nastier.
